"Among the existing disciplines that must contribute if modern leadership is to be understood are those related to communication. One aspect of leadership that is routinely overlooked is the extent to which it is a performance art."

The Challenges of Leadership in the Modern World (2007)

We recognise the performance aspects of leadership, but we do not endorse showmanship. No fluff. No spin. We use theatre as our training pedagogy to imagine, inspire, and innovate.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

IN THE MEDIA

"Project Roop Kaur" is a piece of devised theatre about the Partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. The majority of our actors are working professionals from the banking industry, learning about improvisation, ethnographic research, and authenticity in storytelling.

OUR SIGNATURE PROGRAMMES

Storytelling & Briefcase Series

The Briefcase Series is a series of short workshops open to members of the public. Using case examples drawn from research and improvisational techniques of storytelling, these experiential workshops explore advanced principles of public speaking, crisis communication, and strategic storytelling.

Executive Leadership Training

Our Executive Leadership Training is specifically tailored to teams and C-suite members of organisations who are keen to experiment with the projection and perception of charismatic leadership. Using monologues from plays, participants learn to embody leadership qualities in the performance process.

HR Directors and corporate trainers can enquire on behalf of your team or organisation.

Psychodynamic Theatre Course

Corporate executives who wish to explore acting outside normal office routines can now register for a season of psychodynamic devising theatre course - where your own ideas are scripted towards a group performance.

Professional and freelance actors who also wish to be steeped in physical theatre, will receive ongoing training with experts in the industry.

"Our Applied Theatre/Drama Methodology workshop was facilitated by certified Drama Coaches.[theatreincorporate.com] We were lucky to have facilitators trained in the theatre, Transformational Leadership, Design Thinking, and business consulting. Our facilitators used the works of Shakespeare to explain, and then show, how theatre techniques can be applied to leadership and business. We watched and then we acted out scenes from Henry V and Richard III. Each member of the team got to play both Henry V and Richard III. As we recited the verses from Shakespeare, we experimented with our tone, movement and distance." [Read more on LinkedIn - "Drama" Is Good Business]
